Wildfowl Trust Visitor Centre of Arundel
Completed in 1979, the brainchild of Sir Peter Scott and the Duke of Norfolk,
this building is designed as a series of octagons comprising a viewing gallery,
lecture theatre, restaurant, shop and educational wing and caters for up to 100,000 visitors a year.
It's intention by Sir Peter Scott, one of the founders of conservation in Britain,
to introduce the public to the wonders and importance of wildlife and it's conservation.
This building is the recipient of four awards including the Civic Trust Award
