Tortington Priory Barn, Arundel, West Sussex - A National Monument
Tortington Priory Barn, scheduled monument number 116. The restoration of the standing remains of Tortington Augustinian Priory (founded in 1180 and dissolved in 1536) and the 17th Century thatched barn which was constructed using the two remaining walls of the demolished priory. The conversion of the 19th century farm building and its extension with a new wing to create a new dwelling enclosing a York stone paved courtyard. This project is the recipient of four awards.
